- Answer It can get a little crumbly if you set it too thin, but that may be ok with shaved ham... Make sure your meat is cold. Its cuts better when it's cold. In the fridge is sufficient.

QuestionThe one I purchsed in 2022 failed after less than a year of minimum use. Many other customers complained ; the tray rubbing the blade, the blade freezing up, the thickness adjustment slips. Why do you still sell this garbage?

- Answer yes but it will strain your motor and caused it to burn out. also best buy only has 14 days return for this product unless you want to pay for their membership to get 30 days.

- Answer A knife w/ a serrated would be easier. if that is too difficult, buy a bread slicer, like they use in bakeries.

- Answer Yes, it actually works better with slightly frozen meat. If you wanna slice chicken breast or cold cuts, leave the meat in the freezer for a couple of hours. This is a very cheap slicer ($25), all the insides are made of plastic, it will not last forever.
