• This unit has a magnetic plug that goes only one way on back of fryer. Make sure it’s on securely. Make sure u turn up the thermostat. Make sure the pre-heat light is on.

• Having the same issue p I got it. It's a late Christmas gift. This is my first time using it. It is not heating up at all. Nothing works. It's saying that the light is on saying it's ready but it is not hot
