• The trays seem to be the only parts that are made of tephalon from what I can see. The parts used to the rotisserie are stainless steel(?). I'm not sure if keeping a window open and keeping your bird out of the kitchen will prevent PTFE, but you could check with the manufacturer directly on what other parts in the fryer are non-stick materials and if they offer replacement parts of that variety. Otherwise, enjoying the use over the traditional fryer so far.

• Da... um maybe keep your birds from going inside a hot air fryer would be the first thing I would do... If you have birds that eat metal, then I would keep them away from this unit...
