I have read it will not work if under 4 cups. Even though unplugged the memory when you added water machine left off where you had turned it off early by accident.I don't think you have a problem with your unit.Pump delay was just the machine thinking.After a completed coffee cycle the machine has sensors when water is gone it tells it to shut off pump.When you did what you did it just got confused.I got a Google pixel 3 used and found out it had no notification light.Wow computers are only as smart as the people programming them.Hope I've helped
