“Does the paddle go up in the bread after it is baked and has to be fished out or I am doing something wrong?”

• That paddle will usually stay in the bread loaf (baked in). They give you a utensil to help pull it out. I hold the hot loaf in place with a potholder and pull the paddle out with the bent looking end and place the paddle on the cooling rack by the bread to cool off before I wash it. Taking it out while the bread is still hot keeps it from tearing too big a hole in the bread.

• just make sure the flat edge on the inside of paddle matches to the flat edge of center shaft coming up from bottom of pan. So far no problems

• Sometimes it does stay in the loaf. Before you start make sure to push it on all the way..
