is the jar glass and is it for hot and cold blending null

The jar/container is made out of plastic. I personally would avoid blending hot ingredients in it.

I have only used for cold not sure about hot

Plastic, I only use for smoothies with frozen fruit.

Plastic and can use for hot or cold.

It is plastic but seems strong enough. I haven't used it for anything but cold food.
