• Not "wet" batter unless it has been covered with breading. I did fish with wet batter coated with breading. Then put in freezer for about 20 min. Then cooked in air fryer. They were great, very crispy

• I don't see why not. I use the silicone pads inside so food doesn't stick. Some people use pan spray. Some recipes call for olive oil to be rubbed on the food. But as long as you use something so it doesn't stick. Wet battered food is ok to cook in this. Like any air fryer you will need to turn the food halfway through. Hope this helps
