• Nope, just pull it out with a little force. At first, I thought the button under the piece of clear plastic was it, but that is for the basket to come out of the drip pan.

• Yes, same thing happened to me. Just grasp the handle and use your thumb to push the clear plastic clip on the handle and pull it out. Good Luck!

• I know what you are saying and I don't see any way to make it any easier. I personally don't have a problem with it, Since the outside of mine really don't get hot I put my left hand on the top front of the machine to hold the machine in place and I firmly pull out the food drawer. By doing it this way it really isn't that hard to pull out.

• No trick , just push down on the button on top of the handle before trying to pull out .

• I have not had any problem. simply slide the clear cover up and press the black square it reveals and lift.
