- Answer The only thing I can think of is maybe you're placing the cord on the hot metal after you're done using it? Mine doesn't have that smell. Did you clean it well when you received it, because there is always a chance of residual machine oils after manufacturing too.

QuestionObviously, this item has a timer, as shown in the photographs. Who would want an oven that could run so long and high as to cause a fire? Can someone correct the line in the Specifications that says it does not?

- Answer I would think any Airfryer mesh tray with the 8-9 in dimensions as they describe would work, even though this is convection, not an Airfryer.
