“Does the top piece come off? I would like to take it out and use it just for kettle instead of making teas”

• The lid & basket come completely out of the top. I use it to boil water all the time.

• The top does not come off, but you can remove the tea basket and just heat water.

• Yes you can take it off! We’ve boiled water without the top on and it works great!
