“Side one is sometimes difficult to open and takes me a minute or more to manipulate until it opens.Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix? It did not start happening until about the third use and is almost every time I use it now. I”

I have this same issue. Unfortunately I don’t have a fix but just commenting to let you know you’re not alone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On the first time and when it’s been not used for awhile I spray top and bottom with something like Pam. Use it lightly and you be good to go. My husband loves butter so he puts just a lil more in the batter and alls good. You can have a waffle or can have a thick Belgian waffle.
