• Yes, there should have been an instruction booklet. The cup is also hidden in the Styrofoam, make sure you don't throw it away!

• Nope, the one I bought didn’t come with it either. It’s a solid purchase though. Plug in let heat up put batter in flip out batter in and flip again. Light will go off when waffle is done.
