“Get out of standby mode? Once the machine goes into standby mode I can't seem to figure out how to make it brew again? The only way I have found it to work is by turning it on and off using the button on the side. Great product for the price!”

I think it is a safety feature to avoid overheating the top platform which is used to warm up coffee cups. So yeah, you gotta reset it with the on and off switch .
