I think it would be fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's fairly sturdy. I'm happy with it. I do have a 65" TV on top, but I lashed the cabinet to a brick wall by it's legs with zip ties and also screwed an earthquake strap into the back of the TV, again attached to the wall so neither can sway. Without these extra steps to further increase stability I'd be less confident with such a large Television. I also needed to level it before the TV's placement on top. It's fireplace is surprisingly convincing. With a good book the TV actually sometimes stays off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 65" on top of mine and it is very solid/sturdy. Mine is set up on a tile floor, so I cannot attest to how it would be on carpeting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have my 65" on this unit. It doesn't wobble or move at all. It has 2 legs on the underside in the middle with adjustable pads to accommodate uneven floors along with the end panels with 2 legs each.
