“Can I use my Best Buy Reward Certificate to buy Best Buy gift cards?”

• You actually can use reward certificates to buy food gift cards to certain restuarants, but its my little secret and dont want best buy to catch it. Ill give you a clue though. Its one gift card that has multiple restuarants, one gift card starts with an O, and the last gift card starts with a C. Good luck!

• What BBY is doing here it’s ilegal. Their rules just state that it’s not allowed for “Best Buy gift cards” but they apply that exception to any gift card.

• No. In the past, you could use them to purchase closed loop 3rd party gift cards, but that changed several years ago. Now you can't use Rewards towards the purchase of ANY gift cards.
