In the user manual it says not to install this thing permanently in a cabinet. But as long as u can supply it with good ventilation and get it out when it eventually wears out or needs repairs... I don't see a problem with it. Only thing is the sides get pretty hot, it's recommended that u have a few inches around the sides and the rear, so your cabinet would need to be wider than the unit for sure. I'd say, 3" on each side if u were to enclose it. As far as CFMs go, it's gonna have to depend on how much heat is getting trapped and if the air flow can efficiently move the air along both sides of the unit (since the front will relatively not have an opening in ur cabinet) sorry if I wasn't too much help, but best of luck!
