• Note that this is a USB extension cable, not HDMI, so this is not the right cable. You can probably get an HDMI extension (male one end, female the other), but I would guess it would cost as much or more than a longer HDMI cable (unless yours is very long. )

• I don’t know for sure, but this is good quality so I believe any signal loss would be minimal. You might want a shorter version.

• This is a USB extension; it won't work with an HDMI cable. Try searching for an HDMI extension. I saw that Best Buy sells an HDMI extension made by the company Rocketfish. That one should work fine.
