it actually works for any iphone or ipad that takes the lightning cable to charge. only difference is they changed the other end of the cable to type C and not your traditional USB. At home I use one of my vintage magsafe wall charger that has a type C input and that is the only feature on that magsafw charger for my apple products and good thing i have the car charger with both inputs of USB and type C

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your charging cord has a regular USB connector or a USB-C connector (the smaller USB connector), the plug would work. But you'd have to have the proper charging cord for your device with one of those USB types on the other end.
