“Would this work with my Sennheiser 569 headphones? They only came with 2 cables. One has a big 1/4" (6.35mm) connector and the other has a 3.5mm connector. However, the 3.5mm cable has a mic and a remote, so it doesn't work with the extension I have.”

A 1/4" adaptor (1/4 to 3.5mm) might be an ideal solution.
