Yes i ran mine in high mode all the time and it got so hot inside the flashlight that the actual solder points for the charger port came loose. Not sure if thats the case with yours, but it was for mine quick break down quick resolder and mine was back to fully functional status.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Scott, Yes they are inexpensive but also very poorly designed. Don't know what is causing them to die but I also had one that the charger connector got fouled up. I am unable to charge it so is going in the trash.
