Based on the distance will tell you the strength of the indoor antenna you need to buy. I bought a 50 mile one because most of the stations I needed are within a 50 mile range. Use this website to plug in your ZIP Code and find out how far they are. Then scroll to the bottom and it will show you the distance from your home but the channels that you can get.
