I used rabbit ears before i purchased this antenna. This works much better. I was able to add many more channels with this antenna connected. I do find that when I plug in the antenna, the strong channels can be worse. If this happens, unplug the active antenna, and plug it in on the weaker ones. This antenna is not as good as an attic antenna, but is a good option if you can't install an attic antenna. Place as high as possible and close to a window for bsst results.
