Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello! We’re sorry to hear you’re having trouble removing your TV from the Best Buy essentials™ Fixed TV Wall Mount. Here are a few steps you can try: 1. Check the Release Cords: Ensure you are pulling the release cords straight down. These cords are designed to release the locking mechanism that holds the TV in place. 2. Apply Gentle Pressure: While pulling the cords, gently lift the bottom of the TV away from the wall. This can help disengage the locking mechanism. 3. Inspect for Obstructions: Make sure there are no cables or other obstructions preventing the TV from being lifted off the mount. 4. Consult the Manual: Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on releasing the TV. Sometimes, there are additional steps or safety features that need to be addressed. If these steps don’t work, it might be helpful to have a second person assist you to ensure the TV is safely removed without damage. If you continue to have trouble, please contact our Best Buy essentials customer service team (1-866-597-8427) for further assistance.
