Place the antenna near a window. Install the antenna as high as possible to avoid possible obstacles between the antenna and transmission tower. Obstacles may cause temporary signal loss. Run a channel scan every time you move your antenna. If possible, position your antenna toward the transmission tower.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's important to know that any indoor antenna needs a good line of sight to receive OTA signals. It's not likely such signals can be received in a basement unless there's a window facing the source of OTA signals. This applies to all antenna types including amplified ones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the basement is above grade (aka walk out basement) it may, but strong TV signals need to be present. It will not work it is a completely underground basement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This antenna isn't that good, so I doubt it. I have mine on a 2nd level, 10 miles from the nearest towers, and it's still pretty choppy at times.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a window, then maybe. Try mounting the antenna as close as possible to a window facing towards the nearest broadcast towers (check FCC website and rabbitears.info).
