“Can it be used to mount the soundbar on top of (over) the TV? As the TV speakers are at the bottom of TV, and I will only use the soundbar occasionally, I don't want the soundbar to block the TV speakers output.”

• You could probably pull this off, but I wouldn't recomment it. Not only would it look odd, but its not necessary designed with that in mind.
