“My mouse and keyboard are wired and plug into USB ports, when I use this adapter it cuts out the mouse/keyboard functionality making them spotty at best and unusable. Anybody experience this? any help would be appreciated.”

I have a 2018 vintage Lenovo Thinkpad L480 laptop. My use case is a little different. I have a wireless mouse adapter in one (USB 2) port and this LAN adapter in a (USB 3) port. No issues -- i.e. interference between the wireless USB mouse and the USB LAN adapter. What kind of desktop/laptop do you have?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had a similar problem, the keyboard, on my laptop, quits working. I reboot to fix it, and that works well. I am guessing it to be a problem with the interrupts, but who knows. The adapter works extremely well, and keeps working until much later, when some other conflict arises, etc.
