• The other people who answered are incorrect. It's 1-2 years depending on if you have TotalTechSupport or the extended warranty. Either way if it stops working bring it into BestBuy/GeekSquad and they'll give you a new one as long as it's within your covered warranty period.

• Just buy a new one. The cost of shipping it to claim the warranty is about the same.
