No but there are multiple reasons your wifi could be slow. Check how much bandwidth you actually purchased, see how many devices are connected at the same time as each one will pull down the speed, location of your wifi router should be in a central location preferably open area for coverage. The more walls to go through the weaker the signal. Also invest in wifi extenders for multiple floors and last the cheaper the router the worst the coverage try looking at a wifi 6 router
