QuestionThe packaging says "Give the gift of tech support and more." Is there a way for me to remove that messaging before I give this card as a gift? It doesn't make sense that I, as the gift-giver, would give a gift saying "give the gift" to my gift recipient.

- Answer The blue card is soft glued to the black backer. you can remove the backer prior to gifting.

- Answer Best Buy TotalTech offers help setting up/operating existing products regardless of where purchased, however geek squad protection is not available on items purchased prior to signing up for Best Buy Totaltech.

- Answer You can either purchase a TotalTech subscription and put it in her name, or you can purchase a TotalTech gift card and she would then sign up for TotalTech with the gift card.

QuestionFor budget reasons, we need to pause our Total Tech membership for a year. If we do that, will a new Total Tech membership purchased in 2024 cover the TV, router and other electronics we previously purchased from Best Buy in 2022?

- Answer There is no way to pause your TotalTech membership. If you cancel your membership, you will lose protection on any device currently under TotalTech coverage and if you sign up again, it will only protect eligible items you purchase after you re-sign up.
