• Use the cup or mug you will be using and fill it up with water. Dump the cup-mug of water in the top. I like coffee somewhat strong so I use 2 tablespoons. You can use less or more depending on your taste.

• It makes 1 cup so you use a couple of tablespoons more water so you will have a full cup and you follow the directions on your coffee
