Yes need good power to wake them up and make them sing. I have the Yamaha as-701 with clean 100 wpc - the as-501 is also recommended. It has 85 wpc and couple of hundred dollars less but still powerful and clean. Great combo. I also have Dento blt-2 for good blue tooth connection with built in digital to analog converter. Enjoy as with right amp these are awesome
