Hi James, Yes it does have a water reservoir tank. It has to be plugged into a regular voltage grounded GFCI outlet. (North America 120V ac, 60Hz) The rated power consumption is 660 W/600~700W. in locations were only a standard two prong outlet is available it is the responsibility of the user to install a grounded 3 prong outlet. The rated power consumption is 660 W/600~700W. in locations were only a standard two prong outlet is available it is the responsibility of the user to install a grounded 3 prong outlet. If you use an extension cord the marked rating has to be equal to or greater than 10 amps. Using an extension cord is not recommended.
