“I know this requires a GFI outlet. Could you tell me what amp it needs? Also, unless this is a building code question, how far up from the floor does it need to be or how far away from the toilet it should be.”

I happen to be in the process of renovating a bathroom and just installed a GFCI outlet behind my toilet so that the cord is not running along the floor. I used a 15amp. I can't forsee this thing drawing 1500+ watts. I put it 15" (bottom of pvc box) above the floor and about 16" right of center.
