“Do the paddles at the bottom just double as XYAB? Or can they be mapped as additional buttons? I returned the Elite gamepad, as the paddles just mirrored button on top and I wanted to use it in flight sims, as added axis’s, without losing other maps.”

• This controller only has simplistic button mapping. The buttons on the back are considered the L4 and R4 for the controller. Those are the buttons that can be set as XYAB. The paddles are considered L5 and R5. Those can be mapped to the triggers and bumpers
