“Wait, if this is meant to be a connected scooter with bluetooth so I can do crowd-finding (GPS via bluetooth) in case I loose it? Or prevent theft by locking it or pairing it so it can only be unlocked with my phone, why should I buy this TOY?”

The Bluetooth is disabled on this unit, cause it’s not needed to run the unit. The unit can still be used even without electricity going through it, so I would suggest locking it up with a bike lock if you’re out in public.
