Yes, if more than one person wants to use it and that subscription is almost $100/yer. It also has a very weak WiFi antenna. It frequently looses its signal although its placed in an area that my phone considers a strong signal.

It adds a few extras like longer video clips, more detailed insights about your visitors, priority bird recognition, and extra ways to organize and revisit your sightings. The feeder itself works just fine without it — the joy of seeing and capturing birds is always there. 🐦
