A:Answer works great on hard floors picking up hard pet food off the floors and sucking in tumbleweeds of cat fur. it does an ok job on furniture and carpeting, but not as good as an expensive vacuum. Still, our expensive vacuum doesn't do a great job either, so I often just use this on the carpets anyway. Fact is, they at least get vacuumed more frequently with the Air Ram because it is so convenient.
