How large is the clean/dirty water tanks? null

The top tank is for the dirty water and the bottom tank holds the clean water/cleaning solution.... they both hold 2 gallons of liquid EACH. I hope this answers your question.

I have the machine and love it. I cannot tell you the exact size of the clean tank. Of course the dirty tank is large enough to handle the entire clean tank when working. The amount of square footage you can get from the clean tank will vary of course depending on how bad the carpet is when you start. You should be able to do a normal size room on one tank. I have very large room (approx 20' x 30') and it took a little over 2 tanks of clean to get finished. But, part of that is a heavily used area and I found I needed more than 2 passes to get that area cleaned. The instructions say to do a wet pass both forward and backward, then go back over to get the water extracted. Depending on the level of dirt, you could possibly get by with 1 wet pass and extend the surface you can cover.

The clean water tank where one puts hot water plus cleaning solution is 1.75 gallons... the dirty water tank is about 25% larger but I did not see the specs in the manuals... hope that helps
