Great and odd question. I presume you want to know to gage the penetration capabilities for deep cleaning. The psi I do not know since they are all designed on carpet standards and requirements of absorption vs extraction. My ratio of extraction is 2 gal from 3 and dry within a few hours. The main step is to prespray the area with diluted shampoo and brush into the fibers followed by water only extraction. This technique may nullify your question as it places the penetration outside the machine requirements.
