• Yes!!! It is excellent in picking up dog hair. I have a dog that sheds terribly and it works wonders!

• I have an 80lb Golden Retriever that sheds a lot. This vacuum is perfect. I sweep up big piles and then just break out the vacuum. My daughter spilled a big bag of popcorn in the van and I knew it wouldn't be an issue getting that up with this vacuum.

• Yes. I would say that it should, even though I don't have a large dog that sheds a lot, I have extremely long hair that sheds probably worse than a dog and it picked all of it up.
