Can you use on hardwood floors? null

I would not. It is intended for upholstery and rugs. If you are cleaning a floor, I would think you would already need to clean up the mess and then clean to remove the residue and any smell. It's not like a shop vac that sucks up everything.

I really don't think any carpet cleaners is used on wood floors.
