• While this little machine is great for spot cleaning carpet and upholstery. However, to get rid of urine it's really more about the detergent you use. Make sure to use one that has an enzymatic element formulated specifically for pet urine, ideally specifically for cats as their scent is particularly tenacious. "Nature's Miracle" is a good one to look for, but there are several other brands out there.

• Spray Nature's Miracle or Ikypoo on the spot. Let it sit awhile. Then clean it. Both are enzymes that will "eat" the body fluids and neutralize chemically.
