Does this work with shag rugs? null

I think it would take too long to do a rug. This is better suited for small areas. I used it on a small fabric recliner and it took a good 20 minutes. I can’t imagine how long it would take to do an area rug. Much better for spot cleaning.

It's going to be harder to extract the water from a shag rug than it would be carpet.
