Can this be used as a vacuum without liquid added null

I think it can but I will not recommend it as it is designed to work with liquid added

This is more of a drain cleaner or fine grit/dirt remover when used as a carpet cleaner. I would not recommend using it to vacuum solid items. I would highly recommend removing all solid and even semi solid items before using this carpet cleaner. This unit will realize seepage from spills, pet vomit/urine/etc but again, make sure to pick up the bulk of it first then use this to clean out the fabric. Cleaning those items still require work but this does the trick to make sure I don’t see any stains later.
