• Yes! If you pour and liquid, even if it has detergent within it onto a mattress, it doesn't do anything to inject and at the same time reclaim the detergent with the debris that it just captured. My background has been 30 years in engineering and industrial Hygiene.

• It has better suction then a shop vac and it's nice because it's all contained within the unit.
