• A:Answer Yes, it has the ability to enable the user to choose functions of the vacuum between hard wood, vinyl, tile, marble, ceramic tile ect., as well as carpet. You can turn the brushes off when using the "on/off"/ hardwood function, and set the suction power, as well as the already mentioned, hardwood floor option. Hope this helps. Love this vacuum.
