• The instructions say that the mop is not intended for unsealed floors. They also say that "...use on waxed or some unwaxed floors may result in a diminished glossiness." I would use caution if you have hardwood floors.

• There are several websites that say you shouldn't use steam on hardwood floors. If it's laminate, then I say go for it; it should be perfectly safe. If it's true hardwoods though and you just got them done, I wouldn't risk it. I'd look for a regular spin or spray mop.
