Yes—for thin area rugs, it can be used only with the carpet glider attachment to gently freshen them, not for deep cleaning. For chair cushions or upholstery, we don’t recommend using the PowerFresh Deluxe, as it’s designed for sealed hard floors and rugs with a glider—not fabric surfaces. If you’re looking to clean cushions, a BISSELL portable upholstery cleaner would be a better option.
