will not emit steam. what do I do null

Make sure you're not using tap water. The calcium builds up inside and will block it. Try running it with half a container of water, if it uses it up might be something other than blocking.

After it has been plugged in for 30 seconds or so (to heat up), you need to push the power button to turn it on. Then you need to press either the low steam or high steam buttons then it should start releasing steam.
