• A:Answer Yes. I have used it on mine and it does a great job! The steam alone works, but for harder to clean areas, you can mix Pine Sol or some other cleaning solution in a spray bottle with water and spray it on the floor before steaming. Hope this helps!

• A:Answer No! You just plug it in, push the "on" button and select your level of steam. My old Bissell Steamboost had a trigger and it ended up breaking, so I was glad to see that this model provides automatic steam with a single push of a button.
